SC Main Fills Entire Screen Can't Resize or move - Still a problem – have tried several different things – last was to restart & check Reset Windows again – when it loaded Sierra Chartbook filled the entire screen like before but COULD SEE in the upper Right of the window was the typical Min Icon — in the Middle was the Multiple Pgs Icon & on right sight was X icon. I pressed the Middle Icon – all it did was push all the charts in the Chartbook to the upper left side stacked on top of each other AND it extended to the Right the Sierra Chart & not DO NOT SEE the Min Middle OR X icons – just like before. emil or Phone 214-695-6984 |

Normally for something like this we would recommend selecting Window >> Reset Windows and restarting Sierra Chart. Could you do that again and let us know if you still see the same or a similar kind of problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Like before - I under the Window menu selected Reset Windows - nothing happened - clicked on Sierra Chart clicked on Quit Sierra Chart - Nothing happened - Clicked on Scoreboard - clicked on X to close - did not save config - AT close Save All? clicked No = all closed. Reopened Infinit AT - Sierra Chart begins to load FILLS ENTIRE Screen - I can see in the upper right corner the Minimize Icon - the middle multi page Icon & the X - this is just like i have seen before - when I click on the Middle Icon to resize the window it moves all the charts in the Chartbook to the upper left and the Minimize Multi pg & X icons disappear. When I try to view a different program in the background I can see the Outline of the Window but the SC screen info is over it. What now? |

I may have found a work around - I'm using a Mac with VMWare/Win 7 & 2 external monitors & a laptop - the locked AT chart screen filled the laptop screen & I could not get it to re-size. So, I used Mac/OSX/Sys Pref/Display - in the Arrangement Tab I moved where the Laptop is typically located - the AT Chart page became unlocked & I was able to move & re-size it. Now it looks normal but servers are down & unable to tell if it will stay. If you have any thoughts on this trouble please let me know.

Based on post #4, you will need to resolve this on your own. It is not within the scope of our support to help with system issues and especially nontypical configurations. What you are experiencing is an operating system issue. Not with Sierra Chart. And furthermore, the user is more than capable of and better able to adjust program windows rather than involving us. There is no additional help we are going to provide, than what you already know. Furthermore, the Window >> Reset Windows command, fully resets the operating system data structure with window size and position information. If the operating system is not following that command, there is not any practical help we can provide, beyond what the user intuitively should know just by moving and resizing the window. There is another thing you can do, and it is something we have never recommended for an issue like this, and that is to reset Sierra Chart to a default state. Here are the instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails39.html The reason this is not necessary is because using Window >> Reset Windows should be sufficient to solve this problem. But apparently not in your case. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
