Hello Support Team, having used a trading platform in the past where it was possible to visualize Stop-Orders which were adjusted managing the position. These visualization showed on the chart like lines - please refer to the attached imagefile. I wonder if it is possible to show these lines on the Chart with Sierra Chart - or if it is possible programming something doing it. Maybe there is an indicator/study already existing. Thank you for your consideration, Best, Chris |

We do not see this as something that would be added. It could be done as a custom study though. However, this is not within the scope of our support to provide help with this. Thank you for your answer. I am assuming, a custom study would be done via ACSIL, am I correct? I cannot find any developers anymore on Sierra Chart website https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/links.php#Other Could you provide a link to find developers coding Sierra Chart custom studies? |

Yes, custom study would be done with ACSIL. What it would do is get the order details and place the order price into a study subgraph. Actually this might be a rather simple implementation. However, a simple implementation really will not be completely reliable. One question is what happens when you have multiple orders, how do you tell the study which order to plot. So our general analysis of this, is that it is possible but not easy to do reliably. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
