Why does an extra bar appear each day after session close of NQ, ES, etc?

We have to tried to duplicate this.

We are not seeing this at the moment. For now select Edit >>Download Data for All Historical Charts.

That's what I usually do. The bar stops appearing a couple hours after session close. It's not a major issue, just annoying.

We will figure it out once we can see it. We will watch for it the next couple of days.

Can you tell us about what specific time you see it and the time zone.

We do periodically look for the problem but have not seen it yet. Could you let us know if you still see this problem on the latest release of Sierra Chart?

We have continued to look into this and considered it and it is not reproducible.

The only conclusion we can come up with is that you have specified Session Times which use a starting time which is too early for this symbol in Global Settings >> Symbol Settings.

So what times do you suggest I use? Do these session times affect the daily, weekly charts?

I am usually interested in regular session data.

The time at which the daily high and low are reset is at 18:00 US Eastern time for the ES.
