TPO Merge Profile Suggestion

A feature that would allow a user to drag profiles to merge (create composite profiles) would be useful. If that's not feasible, the ability to setup a keyboard shortcut for the merge profile function would also be nice. The If this is already available and I've missed it, I apologize. The problem with keyboard shortcuts with merging is that it is not known exactly what profiles to merge together because there is no point of reference merely from the keyboard.

Maybe a left mouse-click on the initial profile that the user wished to merge and then a keyboard shortcut to indicate the direction and execute the merge(s) from that point? i.e., If I want to start in November and merge several profiles to the left, I would click on the November profile and then hit left arrow until I reach the target profile. A drag and drop feature (CQG has this) would be especially nice, but I realize that it may not be feasible. Thank You for your quick response.
