Hi SC,

I have a chart set with "Days to Load" at 30.

Nonetheless when I "Delete all Data and Download" it downloads 186 days.

Any way to fix this?

Many thanks

This actually happens with many of my charts. It makes reloading data very lengthy.

The documentation for this setting explains this here:

Unfortunately there is no mention mention of the issue I am experiencing on that link.

The chart has "Days to Load" set at 30, and "Adjust Proportional With Bar Period" disabled. It is nonetheless loading 186 days. Seems that the Global Settings are overwriting the "Days to Load" setting. How can I stop this from happening? I do not want to change the Global Settings.

Link you posted indicates "When historical data is being downloaded into the chart, then additional data will be loaded into the chart beyond what was initially loaded from the local data file on your system. Therefore, the Days to Load setting will get exceeded. After the historical data is downloaded, if you wish to have no more than the Days to Load data loaded, then select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate on the menu."

If that were to be what's causing the problem, I do not know how to stop historical data from being downloaded into the chart. Furthermore, clicking on "Reload and Recalculate" makes no difference. Also, if I "Delete all Data and Download" it reloads all 186 days again.

Can you please help?

Yes there is. This is what it says:

When historical data is being downloaded into the chart, then additional data will be loaded into the chart beyond what was initially loaded from the local data file on your system. Therefore, the Days to Load setting will get exceeded. After the historical data is downloaded, if you wish to have no more than the Days to Load data loaded, then select Chart >> Reload and Recalculate on the menu.

"Reload and Recalculate" makes no difference.
It most definitely will make a difference and load what is specified according to Days to Load.

Also, if I "Delete all Data and Download" it reloads all 186 days again.
Yes, this makes sense.

We cannot offer any further help and we will not respond further.
