I have tried to follow your instructions without success.
My Support Entry from Chart Window is checked through Global Setting.

I have placed my option Symbol on the Title Bar.
From the chart setting window I add the Symbol to the symbol box.
When I hit OK I get a blank screen. All Chart information is lost.

What did I missed or did wrong?

What is the option symbol you entered within Chart >> Chart Settings?

Keep in mind the use of options with Interactive Brokers is complex and problematic. The option symbol has to be properly specified otherwise you will market data.
