This is the S&P advances and I have the "input data" set to last to catch the close of the final bar in the session. The start time is set to one second before the session close and the end time set to one minute before the session close. I want the close of one day to plot forward through to the close of the next day. As you can see, it works on some days but on other days it doesn't plot the line.

What you see does make sense because where you do not see the line is on a Monday where there is no prior data in the day immediately before.

The proper way to do this is to use the Daily OHLC study.

It didn't work today (Weds), so it's not just Mondays. But I will use Daily OHLC if that will work better.

Yes. Because we are not understanding the the time configuration you are using. It is confusing and does not seem to follow the standard practice.

What would it be for standard practice?
