P&F Charts Question

I am attempting to use the P&F charts study and noticed that instead of the charts being based solely on price movement independent of time, that the P&F charts are being influenced by time frame of the underlying chart. Is there a way to create P&F bars in the traditional way so that they are completely independent of time? Thanks.
