Charts dont update live. The prices dont move

Please I cant trade. All my stocks charts are frozen, dont move any candle. Dont update in real time. I use Interactive Brokers and all the settings are ok. I connect and reconnect but nothing. I delete all the data and reload and nothing. The only chart update is Futures but my stocks dont move ! Can you help me please ! Regards Victor |

The two lines at the end say CFD market data is not provided, is that the problem ? I have permissions to trade CFD in IB. I dont know why they say that.

The Message Log does not indicate any error from Interactive Brokers for the stock symbol data. Therefore, refer to help topic 3: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails3.html If help topic 3.4 indicates you are not receiving data from the data feed, then contact Interactive Brokers. Hello, nothing help me. All are the same. The charts are frozen. I trade CFDs and the only solution I was found is close all the charts and chartbooks and then open new charts again and then the charts is update. But is npossible do that every single day. The charts may be updated a the open of my sierra chart platform but when I open every day the charts dont update I close everything and open again all. Its impossible do that at everytime.

When you open a chart for a AAPL and do not use the CFD symbol, does the chart update in real-time without any problem? There is no need to close the charts and Chartbooks. The absolute most you would need to possibly do is select File >> Disconnect and File >> Connect to Data Feed if there is a problem with the Interactive Brokers data feed. This is all. Yes when I open a new AAPL or CFD AAPL chart everything ok but the next day or if I close the platform and then open again the charts not update, I need close all the charts again and open again and that work. Not update in real time when I open the platform. I try File >> Disconnect and File >> Connect to Data Feed but nothing, not update. What is wrong ? |

At the time you have this problem go to Window >> Current Quote Window. Do you notice the last trade price changing there? Not sure if this is related but update Sierra Chart with Help >> Download Current Version and let us know if you still see the problem. After the update you will be running version 1217. Hello, the current quote window is empty, not show anything, the prices not changing there. I was update to 1217 now and averithing still the same, the charts not update in real time. I close all de charts, close all templates and close all chartbooks and then open all again is the unique solution at the moment. I need help. |

Go to a chart for the symbol AAPL. This needs to be for chart that does not use the CFD symbol at all. Select Edit >> Copy Chart Values. Paste that text here.
