On a 5,000 volume ES chart for today, R1 is just above 1,656.00. On a 5 second ES chart for today, R1 is just above 1,657.25. See attachment. Thanks! |

try opening a historical chart in the same chartbook, using settlement closes will give you most accurate pivots since all the institutions and hedge/mutual funds base their data on the settlement close. when setting up the pivots select no on "Use this intraday chart" option and select the historical chart you opened as the daily chart number.. this will now give you the same pivots for any chart you use, and they will be based on settlement rather than midnight which really has no importance
