Hello,

I just discovered custom tools and let me first say this is a fantastic feature. I have two quick questions, please forgive me if these options are already available - I was not able to find them anywhere:

1) Is there a way to increase the width of a toolbar button which represents a custom tool? Right now the size is fixed, so only a few characters can be shown. Larger tools names are truncated. The entire name shows up in the floating tooltip when you hover over the button, but it would be nice to have the option for the buttons to resize to fit the entire tool name.

2) I have two toolbars visible - Tool bar 1 has the standard features and items, and Toolbar 2 is very small and simply has the icons for my custom tools. Toolbar 1 and Toolbar 2 are both on one row. Toolbar 2 is off somewhere to the right (i.e. Toolbar 1 and Toolbar 2 are not directly next to each other). Whenever I customize Toolbar 2, as soon as I exit the menu, Toolbar 2 moves. It creates a second toolbar row under the first toolbar row, and Toolbar 2 gets positioned directly under toolbar 1. I need to manually move it back every time. Is there a way to prevent this?

example:
How I want the toolbars organized:

Now I rightclick -> Customize Tool Bar 2. I don't even change anything, I just hit OK right away. Now Tool Bar 2 has moved:

Sierrachart just crashed as I was attempting to add a 5th custom tool to my toolbar. I took a process dump before Windows closed the process - would this be useful?

Never mind, the dump did not complete. I do have the windows error report, though.

The ToolBar is something provided by Microsoft operating system functionality. It has limitations and problems and we are not going to struggle with it anymore. We are going to be developing our own ToolBar functionality early next year and will consider your requests. Most likely the whole model of how ToolBars will work will be completely different.

We will confirm that there is no problems with the custom tool functionality which could cause an exception. We do not think so but we will make sure.

We will not comment any further on the existing ToolBar functionality. We are tired of all of the problems and limitations with it.
