hello i am currently with IB but thinking about about opening an account with amp futures and i have a few question regarding tthe data fee ( is ttnet free?) i also would like to know if they have their own trading platform and if there is a fee for that . my third question is about my charts, will i have to redo the whole chartbooks if i change to amp , and finaly, i probbably should ask them that directly, is there a problem to open an account if you are a canadian resident thanks for your help |

You should probably ask AMP directly but... Here are a few answers that I have first hand experience with: There is no charge for AMP/TTNET but you'll have to use Sierra Chart's trading window for execution. If you want a separate platform for execution, you have to use X-Trader (which has a per side fee). You will have to change the symbols on all your charts so that they use the AMP/TTNET ones Don't think there's any problem with being in Canada. Again though, check with them. Use their live chat, they're very responsive. They also have very competitive commissions since they do so much volume (flat fee for ES is $3.34 round turn if you maintain a $10k balance (around $4 if you go below). |

Sierra Chart does support AMP / TT Net, Rithmic and CQG trading platform services which are supported by AMP. Only change the symbols to match the particular service you are using.
