The easiest solution to this is to update Sierra Chart following these instructions here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

The newer versions do not rely on FIX for CQG.


After the update, connect to the data feed.

when i open sierra chart i get a system notification offering sierra chart data feed but it says it is optional, i don know if his has something to do? i have no clue
