Hi i would like to delete some scid files that i no longer use and i would like to know what files are the ones attached to my currrent active chartbooks. Thanks. |

Intraday data files with the scid file extension have the symbol as the main part of the filename. So you can delete the data files for symbols that you are no longer using.

And what about the symbols i still use, for example i have a lot of ES files but i don't know which ones are still useful, are the ones that have the most recent "date modified" on them?

As far as which ones are useful, you need to make this determination. We would not know. If the symbol is expired and you are not using Continuous Futures Contract charts, then you can delete them.
