Hi, I upgraded from 1170 to 1205 and the Color Based upon Alert Conditions study is no longer working correctly with currency futures. Attached is chartbook where I am simply trying to color bars based upon increasing/decreasing subgraph difference study. It works fine on whole number instruments, e.g. YM, TF, ES, NQ. I restarted, I tried changing the value format and I tried building from scratch, but same problem. First pic shows currencies and second pic is TF. Thank you for any help. It works for me in v1205, with EURUSD and TF Try using this formula in ID6 instead: =ID5.SG1<ID5.SG1[-1] |

Thanks for responding, but when I do that then I get this...see attached. I restored the backup of version 1170 excluding the data folder, i.e. the chartbook and related settings are the same as on version 1205, and it worked correctly again, but as soon I upgrade to 1205 again then it tanks again. Are you on 6E or forex?

Ok, so the problem is related to the New Spreadsheets version, both current versions and pre-release. As soon as I update to the 1205 Old Spreadsheets version, it works correctly as before.

The problem is related to the Value Format of the studies being referenced: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AlertCondAndScan.html#ValueFormat Increase the value format to more decimal places.
