For the last couple of days when the market (EUREX) opens the daily charts have not shown a new candle for the new trading day until I have logged out of SC and logged back in. I had tried to Edit Reload All charts and also Edit Delete and Download but this failed to show the daily charts with the new session candle until I closed and re-opened SC. It's probably something really simple so please advise. Thanks in advance

This looks like a Session Times problem with the chart. Refer to help topic 3.3 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails3.html#h3.3 Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. This appears to have solved the issue om historical daily charts but not intraday charts as you can see from the intraday chart below http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1414566535662.png Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-10-29 07:16:57

What are the Session Times for that Intraday chart? There is little doubt the problem has something to do with the Session Times.

That very first step to resolve a problem like this is to set the session times to 0:00:00 and 23: 59:59. This is absolutely essential. Then look at the very last Date and Time of the chart to see what the problem could be. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
