I have experienced several instances of my chartbook going spontaneously into a fast cycle of showing each chart in the book. It's so fast it is hard to be sure it is all the charts in the book. First occurrences a shutdown and reload SC solved it but then a day so later the issue reoccurs Any idea what may be causing this? running v1199 |

Do you have more than one Chartbook open? The only thing we can think of is that this might be the case when switching between the Chartbooks but that does not happen automatically. Otherwise, a report like this makes no sense at all. There is nothing in Sierra Chart which would cause this other than when opening a Chartbook or closing a Chartbook or a Chartbook is being switched. Usually multiple chartbooks open. If I click on another book it is flashing too. Odd indeed. I can get it to momentarily stop the charts from flashing when I go to a menu drop down but as soon as you are off the menu it resumes basically scrolling thru say 10 charts in the book. Ok must be some other bug in this Windows machine. I will hope it goes away and at least try and document any correlations I see for when it happens Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-10-17 19:07:25

If this is happening without any user interaction, this must be a system issue. We do not see how we can help with it. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
