How do you reference a cell in a different spreadsheet, that is in the same chartbook? IE: =Q3 from 2nd spreadsheet. Thanks Dave |

Press = in the destination cell, then focus the source cell in the other spreadsheet and press Enter. It will look like this in the destination cell: ='[Source.scwbf]Sheet1'!$Q$3 You can then remove the $ absolute references, if needed. BTW, you cannot do this with the New Spreadsheets. Do you want to reference another Sheet within the same Spreadsheet window or a completely separate Spreadsheet window? We do not recommend references between Spreadsheets when using Old Spreadsheets because those are no longer supported with New Spreadsheets. This is an unsupported feature we will not help with. Thanks Tom I am working with the new spreadsheet, so I need the same information you gave except for the new spreadsheets. Is there more documentation yet on the new spreadsheet? Thanks again Dave |

You cannot reference another spreadsheet in the New Spreadsheets, but you can reference a cell on another sheet in the same spreadsheet, but you have to type it out: =Sheet2!Q3 Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-10-17 00:51:00
