I updated the symbol and I still have a huge bar on historical charts and the intraday show 1500-1600 type prices. <settings> <service-code>ib</service-code> <symbol>DA-######-GLOBEX-USD-2000</symbol> <historical-chart-symbol>DL?##</historical-chart-symbol> <use-pattern-matching-characters>true</use-pattern-matching-characters> <contract-months>FGHJKMNQUVXZ</contract-months> <description>Class III Milk Futures - CME</description> <category>Futures</category> <value-format-code>2</value-format-code> <tick-size>0.01</tick-size> <currency-value-per-tick>20</currency-value-per-tick> <error-filtering>true</error-filtering> <default-order-quantity>1</default-order-quantity> <rollover-method>Method10</rollover-method> <rollover-input-1>2</rollover-input-1> <sc-data-symbol>DC?##</sc-data-symbol> <sc-data-symbol-multiplier>0.01</sc-data-symbol-multiplier> <sc-data-srvcode>cme</sc-data-srvcode> </settings> And as predicted my rollover rules for W (White Sugar) and London Cocoa just got changed after update so it's not the case that rollover rules are left alone (and I do not have overwrite all settings enabled). I had also opened a thread 2 weeks ago to fix those symbols (Please fix White Sugar and London Cocoa rollover specs) - but suffice to say rollover rules are never safe with symbol updates from what I've observed. Try it, go to W sugar, set a random rollover rule then hit symbol update and watch it disappear. Anyway, the milk thing is still an issue. If I set the chart's historical price multiplier to 0.01 it then looks correct but then the historical charts are all wrong (and also have a giant bar on them that just wrecks the chart). |
