1) So I've rolled back the installation to v.1453 and everything is working again and the files compile without issue. The ability to select a specific previous version on the new installer is very handy and worked great. 2) As part of the installation for the new v.1459 compiler the file for the Visual C++ build tools seems excessively large as you can see in the screenshot.
