One last point before I break for the weekend is that this may relate to my question posted on the incorrect/other support board. It seems to be an FXCM fractional point issue that I cannot seem to correct or get my head around. Maybe the tools are only utilizing 4 digits and 2 for the Yen? Example with USD Counter/Variable: a) 1.00023 - 1.00016 = 0.00007 which is not even 1 Point (Pip) but to the 4th place 1.0002 - 1.0001 = 0.0001 is 1 Point (Pip) so, b) Fractional: 0.00007 x 10,000 = 0.7 Pips and 0.00007 x 100,0000 (1 Lot) = 7 USD c) 4th Place: 0.0001 x 10,000 = 1 Pip and 0.0001 x 100,000 = 10 USD The Chart Value and Tool values would seem to provide very different results. How to correct the issue and the tools? Am I missing something? Are the symbol defaults incorrect? Many thanks and my apologies if I'm missing something obvious. |
