The fact that the error is actually occurring at the TLS layer is additional confirmation that this is not some kind of bug in our own software either on the server-side and client-side.

And we do have just only isolated incidents of this and you experience no stability problem with Sierra Chart which further indicates that the problem is not likely within Sierra Chart either.

This does seem to be a problem where data is getting corrupted over the network but the problem with that conclusion is that if that is actually the case the TCP/IP Internet protocol is going to detect that and there will be automatic packet retransmission and evidence of a corruption would never be seen by an application program. This is handled by the operating system itself.

Therefore, if data is getting corrupted over the network, then there is deliberate packet manipulation occurring by some network operator and they are actually altering the checksum within the packet to make it look like the data is not getting corrupted. Reference:

Another indication this is not a problem with Sierra Chart is you experience no problem with our servers in another data center. For example, after repeatedly downloading data for ESU16 do you notice any historical data problems?

If not, this most probably confirms it is a network issue.

We are setting up a new server in another data center but we do need to address this problem with our existing servers.

Go to the Windows commandline and run this command:
tracert DS5.SierraCharts.com

And paste the results here.
