Make sure you are using 1439. The proper way to not load data in the chart that you do not want to do back testing with is to set Chart >> Chart Settings >> Use Date Range >> To to the ending date that you want. If you do not want to have Sierra Chart connect to the data feed on startup, then uncheck Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Connect on Program Startup.
