OK, I upgraded to ver.1405 and can now see "Set System Date-time from server" under Global settings. (WHY is there no Change Log?? This is not such a minor development. What other changes have there been from v1401 to 1405?) Under "General Settings" there is now also an option to "Periodically Set System Date-Time from server" - WHICH IS NOT DOCUMENTED. So, how often would this last option re-sync local computer clock? Still could not find "Timestamp using local computer clock" option in the Data and Trading service... I tried to re-sync time with SC's "Set system Date-time" from server and found that it is ahead of the clock vs. a Stratum One time provider in NYC that I normally sync my VPS in NYC with(clock.nyc.he.net) - http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Servers/StratumOneTimeServers?sortcol=0;table=1;up=0#sorted_table - most often by 1069-1071ms(!) and sometimes by around 60-70ms.(RTT to SC server in Europe is 141ms). From the other hand, IB's end-of-minutes are mostly consistent with the sync I use. Would greatly appreciate your thoughts/suggestions/recommendations on the most accurate time syncing.
