SC Team - Tried to use New Instance feature of DTC and few observations I have made and would like to provide some feedback in a new thread (as the main thread is locked). - I think "new instance" menu item should be disabled for all the sub-instances. If not the process would be sub-instance or a sub-instance (unless this is intended design). - data folders are different for each of these instances. I think this would contribute to redundant data being collected under various instances and not sure whether this is a good feature or not. Is this an intended design feature to have separate data folders for each instance? - One "convenience" of having separate data folders(Current design) is - one can have various versions of study dlls. If the design is to have separate data folders, there is no change needed here. But in case if the data folders gets shared from the main folder - it might be a good idea to provide a separate folder for study dlls - which would allow independent versions of study's to be run with individual instances.
