Is there a way, other than drawing tools, to place strings (or values) on a chart on a per index basis? For example, how are the BIDVOL x ASKVOL strings displayed in the Numbers Bars study? The only index based text styles that I see that will display a text label for the values in a subgraph are DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_ON_HIGH and DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_ON_LOW, which works great for two values but, without a vertical displacement parameter, gets crowded for more than that. DRAWSTYLE_VALUE_OF_SUBSTRING would be great if there were a way to specify the subgraph with the value to display and the index of the subgraph to determine the placement (such as price), but it does not work that way. It is easy to put a single column of strings on the chart using DRAWSTYLE_TEXT, but it is not clear how it is possible to place arbitrary footprint data at each index on a chart. Is there ASCIL access to whatever Numbers Bars uses? A comment from WarriorTrader from 2011 or 2012 made me think that he might know how to do this, but it surely is not obvious to me. |
