This is not what is actually happening. A new chart window is definitely being created. It must be. There is no other possibility. But for some reason high CPU usage is occurring. This must be due to a problem with the data in the data file causing high CPU usage in Sierra Chart. What happens when you close all of the charts by closing the Chartbook and then opening up this one chart data file that is causing a problem.
