Post From: Spreadsheet study scaling and draw style help

I added a spreadsheet study to help me determine the strength of a move. The study basically just assigns a 1 if the formula is true and 0 if false. I set the scale to independent and the subgraph draw style to square with width/size of 2 (so it is big and clear for me to see). With these settings, the study plotted correctly at the top of the region and stayed at the top of the region even when I scroll the chart up or down. However, the size of the squares were small or squeezed. I tried to change the width/size to 1 and 3 and the problem remains the same - the subgraph plotted is small or squeezed.

I changed the scale to user defined with top of range at 1 and bottom of range at 0. The size of the squares plotted correctly. However, when I scroll the chart up or down, the study moves/scrolls with the chart. However, the study is distracting this way and when I scroll the chart up, the study moves up and no longer visible.

Is there a setting that I am missing to correctly display the size of the plotted squares but keep the study visible at the top of the region and not move when the chart is scrolled up or down? I am thinking that independent is the right scaling to use but why is the subgraph plotted small or squeezed. Attached are images to illustrate the problem.
