An empty Chartbook is a different case and the likely cause would be an issue on your system. Sometimes we see cases where a file consists of nothing but repeating 0 bytes. The only explanation for something like this is going to be an operating system level problem. It would be extremely unlikely that anyone would experience this. There are backups available.
