I have always used Sierra inside Parallels. Currently I use Parallels 10, Windows 8 and the latest release of Sierra (1282 with new spreadsheets) and can confirm that all runs fine with really low CPU usage. However, I don't like the business model being instituted by Parallels where they are trying to turn it into a subscription based service penalising users who use more RAM and more virtual CPUs.
