This problem is now solved. Update the Symbol Settings again as explained here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_GlobalSymbolSettings.php#UpdateSettingsSteps



After this is done, re-download the data in the chart with Edit >>Delete All Data and Download. This only needs to be done once.
