You can control what the Trade Activity Log shows using the controls at the top. It does not matter what the trade mode is you are using while connected to the server. All data that has already been saved in the Trade Activity Log can be viewed. This is documented here:

To look at Live or Simulated Live trading activity, you just need to select the proper Account in the list of Trade Accounts at the top. Simulated live will have [Sim] in front of the account identifier.

Select the Trade Activity tab to change the top left order activity source control.
