It is not a bug. We have given this more thought and we understand exactly why it occurs. It has to do with floating-point error and it is difficult to deal with in this particular case. For example the number 1.5001 might actually internally be 1.5000999999 and this affects the value it is rounded to. We will continue to think about how to resolve it, because if we try to solve it we could introduce other side effects and this is something we are extremely hesitant to do.
