The order entry and disconnect problems reported here when using Rithmic have been actively looked into and we finally have discovered the problem. What was happening is that when an order is submitted, in the Rithmic bridge program a deadlock condition sometimes was occurring. This started to occur when there was some recent code changes to our network socket code. The basic underlying reason for this problem is that the software used to connect to Rithmic is not developed by us but developed by Rithmic and it functioned in a way which is unexpected and not well understood by us. This problem has been resolved in version 1249.
