thank you for the help. Unfortunatly, the full reset was not successful. to resolve this i did the following: 1) created new working fresh install 2) confirmed account was working and correctly receiving data 3) copied new GlobalSymbolSettings.xml and Accounts.config over to old install 4) created new chartbook in old install 5) received updated security CTS T4 FIX | Sending security definition request for symbol QM.20150300.CME_NY | 2015-02-11 13:50:21
6) loaded old chart bookCTS T4 FIX | Received matching security definition for symbol QM.20150300.CME_NY. Subscribing to data. | 2015-02-11 13:50:21 CTS T4 FIX | Received 1 security definitions for underlying symbol QM | 2015-02-11 13:50:21 I am back up and running. my thought is that my quoteboard had somehow latched onto old symbols definiation and was interfering with it. i have to create a new chartbook first. skipping steps 4 and 5 were not successfull.
