In no case will Sierra Chart ever send a trailing stop order type to an external trading service.

Sierra Chart only will send a Stop or Stop-Limit order to an external service. Sierra Chart always manages trailing stop functionality internally.

There is a reason why it is done this way, and that is because of the following reasons:

1. Not all services will support trailing stops.

2. Services have various kinds of interfaces for trailing stops and it becomes massively difficult to support them all. Especially being they have all kinds of problems and limitations. It would be a complete exercise in utter nonsense and futility trying to support a trailing stop on the server side.

3. There is no service that would support all of the trailing stop functionality that Sierra Chart supports. So it simply makes no sense why we would ever utilize what is provided on the server side. There is no chance we would ever do that with the kind of nonsense we have seen on the server side.
