SC Team - at present you somehow manage to map symbols from various trading services to corresponding realtime feed. As the symbol name would be different for each of the trading services - you must be having an internal map stored somewhere to map this in a meaningful way. For example when we open a daily chart - you automatically populate Symbol & Trade and Current Quote symbol fields ( 2 separate fields and depending on the data service it is configured for the second field automatically populated). Would you please elaborate where from this data gets pulled from? Background: I am trying to share some "summary data" between multiple instances of sierra but trying to avoid using "remote" data option. However as the symbol names are different between each trading service - trying to find a generic way to map the symbols between instances. Wondering if Symbol description can be used for this purpose? Is it likely to be same between all trading services? Also noticed - you have some flag - "Use Pattern Matching" under global symbol settings. Assuming it might be playing a role in deciding this symbol map as well. Appreciate any input on this.
