You can create, and be able to choose, different color and line configurations for drawing tools like the Extending Rectangle. Global Settings >> Tool Configs >> Extending Rectangle http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Tools.html#UsingMultipleDrawingToolConfigurations If you want to use the Horizontal Lines study, you can set the Draw Styles of line pairs to Fill Top and Fill Bottom.
