for those struggling with studies like these swing-based studies that need manual refreshing, you can either open the studies window and close it (to refresh your chart) or just press the INSERT key (Recalclate) and old, irrelevant, half-painted values will be removed. the reason i feel the issue is serious is that calculations (like spreadsheet calculations) cannot be based on these studies, since the studies show incorrect, temporary values until you manually refresh them. thus if i want to compare the most recent swing length to the prior swing length, it may be comparing temporary values that in actuality were not finished swings. thank you SC. |
