I am using that exact code snippet, thanks. I finally got it working. After getting a different overlaid indicator to plot properly I figured it must be in the overlay settings. After some trial and error it turns out the "Copy Source Data To Latest Corresponding Destination Bar" setting was set to no and when set to yes it works. The overlay worked fine without changing that setting so that is what threw me off. So that is the solution in case someone finds this in a search for the same problem in the future. Thanks again.
