I use two 8.1 with Sierra Charts At for 5 weeks now. One unit wireless in family room while I rest. I have seen no issues with 8.1. Two other units are Win 7 and run them side by side laptops connected to two 39 inch LCD Vizio tv screens. I'm very happy with SC. I have used and still run other platforms as well for years. They run the same on Win 8 and 7. Defender M Essentials fine as well so far. Light weight runs like a Triple Crown Thoroughbred. Quick loading of different symbols excellent and I don't have to fight adjusting charts. It takes time and patience to learn that's why I read the support forum threads. |
