Hi Crazybears, sorry for the delayed response and thanks a lot for your ongoing kindness and willingness to help me with this project!! Regarding your question: The values right and left of the high/low don't have to be ascendants and descendants. The rule is not that strict. With H(1) being the current bar's high, the logic/math for a swing high is as followed: H(3)>H(1) and H(3)>H(2) and H(3)>H(4) and H(3)>H(5) I hope this is clear now. I should have attached the example chartbook with the spreadsheet study in the first place. I've done so now.
