We see that you will have only used 10 days of the trial time, so we have extended your trial by 11 days to give you the full 21 days of trial. -- Sierra Chart packages are purchased in 1, 3, 6, or 12 month options. Each month is actually 31 days, so the 1 month package gives 31 days, the 3 month option gives 93 days, etc. The packages renew on a rolling 31 day schedule, so whenever you activate a package, you get 31 x # months of Usage Time from that point. When that time ends, as long as you have enough funds in your account, the package will automatically renew for the next period. This means that the renewal date itself is not the same day for each month, as not all months have 31 days in them. The exchanges renew on a calendar month basis and they are not pro-rated. So you pay the full amount for the first month regardless of when within the month you activate the exchange. Then you will need to pay again on the first day of the following month for that next month. It is these exchange fees that you need to be careful with as you do not want to activate an exchange near the end of the month where you will pay the full amount for just a few days. -- With regards to the packages, in order to connect to data and trading services, you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. The "Base" packages are intended for further learning and/or development where real-time data and trading is not needed. Refer to the information for the packages at the following link: Description of Service Packages and Pricing When you are ready to activate a package, follow these instructions: Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions -- With regards to the real-time data, if you are going to get your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed and you want real-time data for the CME group at the non-professional rates, then you do need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. And you need to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. An Interactive Brokers account will suffice for this purpose. To setup the CME Group data, follow these instructions: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* -- In order to connect to Interactive Brokers, follow these instructions: Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
