Post From: Portions of intraday data not downloading by default

It depends on the time when I get on my system. It hasn't happened for the past two days, somehow. I think this will forever remain a mystery. I'll get back to you if it happens again later. The message log, although I didn't save it, said intraday data was being downloaded. Downloads proceeded and ended normally. 10:08 to 10:14 simply did not exist in the data file of AMD_MBO.scid until I manually did "Delete and Download Data". So I deleted and re-downloaded everything. My last question left for now, is why my Intraday File Update List freezes Sierra Chart altogether when I put more than ~27 symbols in there. I used to be able to have 80+ symbols. All I changed was I created three sub-instances of Sierra Chart. It keeps freezing now, when all my sub-instances are closed. Even when all chartbooks are closed. Simply starting data downloading when the Intraday File Update List is filled with more than ~27 symbols during a moment of the day when there is activity (of course, this doesn't happen when markets are closed) is enough to freeze Sierra Chart. As a workaround, I can put the same list of 80+ symbols in an associated watchlist then manually do Edit -> Download Data for Associated Watch List Symbols. This will download all data without a problem. But the continuously updating way, via Intraday File Update List, always freezes. I have attached two screenshots of my message log when that happens. One today. One yesterday. Context: only the main Instance of Sierra Chart is opened. No chart is opened. I just hit Connect to data feed. The Intraday File Update List has the 50 symbols I use the most: I attached this list, if you need to compare. Sierra Chart is completely frozen at the moment I take these screenshots, so I can't copy and paste them directly sadly. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-03-12 16:35:46
