We are a bit confused by what you are asking, as we think the Numbers Bars Calculated Values option for "Color Background Based on Value Percentage" does exactly what you are asking for. For example, if you want to color the background when the delta value is within 95% of the Maximum Delta for the defined period, then you would set your "Percent Compare Threshold" values to have the third number be 0.95 (i.e. "0.25, 0.50, 0.95") and then adjust the colors as you want them. At the other end, if you want to color values that are within 5% of the minimum, then your first value would be 0.05 (i.e. "0.05, 0.50, 0.95") and again, adjust the colors as needed. Keep in mind you can control the whether the Maximum/Minimum values are determined from All Data or Daily Data through the Input for "Determine Maximum/Minimum Values for Background From".
