The performance issues discussed here New spreadsheet functionality same performance as the old CLR version? do they only relate to spreadsheet studies? Meaning, when no spreadsheet studies are being used, is the performence in non-CLR and in the CLR versions the same? If a spreadsheet study is being used in the non-CLR version, is there an objective way to verify if the performance is as good as in the CLR version?
