With 3 Sierra Chart software running simultaneously (taking 2 P-cores each), and video recording behind, I never exceed 16 GB of RAM.

Intel i9s are not worth it, they are expensive compared to the i7. The additional gain is only 200 MHz with Turbo Boost between the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K. If you take the risk of overclocking it to exceed the Turbo Boost frequency, you take the risk that the computer will reboot. Favor stability.

The Intel 13th and 14th generation series are defective. Instead, take the Arrow Lake series, for example the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K.
If you really want an i9-14900KS, you have to buy it new and update the BIOS before using it, otherwise it will disintegrate.

If you want to spend more than $2500 on a computer tower, get a motherboard with a W880 chipset that will be released in a few weeks and you can put ECC RAM, so the computer will have no problem.

Desktop processors use Dual Channel for RAM, so they work more efficiently with 2 identical sticks than 4 identical sticks. It is the HEDT processors that use 4 sticks (Quad Channel).

As for the graphics card, it never exceeds 10% for a Quadro P600, and it is especially video recording that hits 10%. A used nVIDIA Quadro at 50 USD is more than enough. The Quadro P600 consumes 13W when I trade, and when I record the screen. So the graphics card is not the priority, but a graphics card with good drivers, yes.

You can put 2 M.2 SSDs, one for Windows and one for Sierra Chart.

For the CPU, don't forget to disable those pesky E-cores, and Hyper-threading if you have it, so you can point Sierra Chart at 2 P-cores each.
