Take a closer look at the alert that was generated. If it occurred when the market was closed, then we wonder if you had a full chart recalculation during that time and the alert is actually for a previous bar and not the current one. Apart from a full recalculation, there is no reason for an alert to occur while the market is closed. There is no activity to generate an alert during that time.
