Any update on this? I think the commenters are misunderstanding this. Last year these bracketing algos appeared on ES/NQ/others and it was a dramatic overnight change in the order book, and it has not gone back to normal since. Anyone who claims otherwise does not watch a heatmap daily. It was over the top. BM introduced their Tradermap plug-in to filter out these bracketing algo’s liquidity. I don’t know what it’s doing technically, but you can read about it, and it works quite well. It would be great to see a similar implementation in SC. As is, heatmaps are basically useless on these indexes. Whereas using the BM plugin you can see the liquidity levels again. It’s more complex than just a contrast or coloring issue.
