thank you guys for the responses, very much appreciated re the subscription model of parallels, which is obviously a bummer, shabby even, if you ask me, they seem to have a one-time-purchase version, which is a little crippled in respect of ram and vcpu usage @seandunaway, do you use the pro version or the "crippled" one? and if you use pro now, have you ever tried the other one? i am happily paying for a piece of software that i use and i have no problem paying for an upgrade if i want the new features but this software subscription model went way out of hand and i avoid subscriptions like the plague now. only a select few will remain on my subscription list |
